You’re on a winter adventure when suddenly a snow blizzard?️ comes in. The only thing you can do is make a shelter and spend the night. Luckily you had your survival kit. Your survival kit should have at least the basics fire?, water, food?, and a knife. You don’t have to put all of these in your survival kit. This is what I put in mine:
Gear
- A Swiss army knife– Great sturdy knifes with lots of functions and a good price at about $20.
- A beeswax candle– On the expensive side, but burn a while and don’t pollute the air.
- A tactical flashlight– These are bright flashlights with a durable casing.
- A camp towel– These light small towels are very durable.
- A first aid kit– Get one that’s small and light.
- 1 box of Waterproof Matches– When you need to make a fire these can be very helpful and they’re inexpensive.
- 2 large canteens of water– When you’re in the wilderness you need lots of water.
- A survival blanket– If you’re in the arctic these could come in very handy.
- A metal match– These are strikers that you can use a knife to spark a fire.
- Sawyer water filter– When you need water this small light filter can be very useful.
- MREs (meals ready to eat)- These meals are packed with calories.
- Glow sticks– You can get these at most party stores and amazon.
